From the Principal's Desk

Term 1, Week 6: From the Principal’s Desk

I find it hard to believe that we are now over halfway to the end of Term 1, 2016. As is our practice every year at this time, we are running a series of marketing events: personalised school tours, open mornings and evenings, and visits to primary schools in the Prospect area.
We have invited our senior students to conduct school tours and speak about Prescott College during on and off campus events. The feedback I have received from the general public about our students is very affirming.
Parents of prospective students describe our student tour guides as engaging, informative, polite, helpful, joyful, well mannered and respectful. This list reminds me of another, found in the Bible, in the book of Galatians, chapter 5, verses 22 and 23.
As principal, I feel proud of our students when others observe our core values of integrity, respect and joy, demonstrated in our students’ actions and speech. Our students have experienced personal growth whilst learning to speak with confidence to younger students, who are often seeking guidance and reassurance as they make the transition to secondary school. Potential parents and primary school teachers rarely fail to give unsolicited compliments regarding the high calibre of Prescott College students.
Word of mouth is by far the strongest method of growing our school, and therefore, I would like to remind you that Prescott College offers a referral fee discount to any current parent who refers a new student, which results in enrolment.
Thank you for continuing to work with us in order to grow character-building values in your sons and daughters. We do this because – your child matters!
