Chaplain's Corner

Term 3, Week 6: Chaplain’s Corner

Our students ask some really curly question in Bible Studies. And to be honest, we are not always able to answer them. Some things in life are just a major mystery. Some are just plain unfair, some are confusing, some don’t make sense. As Chaplains and Pastors, we attempt to encourage people in their own faith journey, and be open about our own faith, but we don’t have all the answers cut and dried. More often than not the students end up encouraging us in our faith journey during Bible study!

Jesus said we must become like children to enter the Kingdom of God (Matthew 18:1-4). So that must include not knowing everything and having tons of questions! But it also includes that childlike faith and acceptance that He is real and He is always there. Just knowing that He wakes me up every morning with my heart still beating and my lungs still breathing, the world still turning and the birds still singing. His fingerprints are everywhere. This is the God we explore every week in our Bible studies, chapels and
Bible classes.
