A Seventh-day
Adventist Education

Prescott College is a Seventh-day Adventist co-educational secondary school located in Prospect, just north of Adelaide. As the only co-educational secondary school in the Prospect area, we provide a supportive learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually within the values of Seventh-day Adventist education.

At Prescott College, we believe every student is a unique and valued child of God. Within our classrooms, students are encouraged to share their perspectives and learn from one another in a safe and respectful environment. Collaborative discussions allow students to hear both male and female viewpoints, as well as insights shaped by different cultures, backgrounds, and faith experiences. Through these interactions, students develop empathy, respect, and strong interpersonal skills.

Learning and
Community

Our small, individualised classes allow teachers to support each student’s learning and growth. Students build confidence as they form friendships and work together with peers, while also learning to interact respectfully with people of different perspectives.

Positive male and female role models guide students as they develop character, leadership skills, and a strong sense of responsibility, preparing them for further study, the workplace, and community life.

Health
and Wellbeing

As part of our Seventh-day Adventist ethos, we promote a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing. This includes encouraging nutritious choices and supporting a vegetarian approach to food that reflects Adventist health values.

Our
Heritage

Prescott College has a long history within the Prospect community. The first church school opened in 1906 in a classroom attached to the Prospect Seventh-day Adventist Church, beginning with just 15 students. After briefly closing in 1917, the school reopened in 1920 and continued to grow.

In 1936 the school moved to its current site on Koonga Avenue, Prospect. Over the decades the campus expanded, transitioning to a dedicated secondary school in 1973. Today Prescott College offers modern facilities and specialised learning spaces, supporting a close-knit school community of up to 250 students.
