National Reconciliation Week for 2025 is just around the corner, running from 27 May to 3 June, and this year the theme is Bridging Now to Next.
We have a number of activities planned across the school during this focus week that will bring our students together on many levels and help them understand the importance of reconciliation.
We seek to provide the students with a forum for helping to create a community where everyone feels valued and supported so that we can live in a country where equality and harmony are hallmarks of the community. It’s also that time of the year when school photos are on the agenda.
There are many occasions where our students make us proud and seeing them dressed impeccably in their school uniform is always pleasing on photo day. We ask that parents and carers ensure that their children are dressed according to the uniform policy. You can click here to access a copy of the policy. If a student attends their photo timeslot out of uniform they will be asked to make the adjustments required. Often they are able to do this on the spot, but if some some reason they can’t then we will request that they attend the catch up photo session that is planned for the following week on Monday 2 June.
You will need further information about school photos and a brief synopsis of the uniform in an article below. From the Principal Finally, don’t forget that Friday 30 May is a pupil free day which means that students are not required at school. Our OSHC service is running to assist with the care of primary school students on this date and bookings are essential through the usual channels.
If someone does wrong to you, then forgive them. Forgive each other because the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3.13
